	The Slime BagTM (patent pending) is a unique combination of porous material that allows for fine particulate filtration (1 micron) while allowing water to permeate back into your pool. To give you an idea of how small that really is, a typical grain of sand is between 100 and 500 microns and a red blood cell is about 5 microns.


	The maximum flow rate for the Jumbo bag is 300 gallons per minute


	The Super Slime Bag removes 99.5% of oils and lotions.


	The maximum flow rate for the Filler Up Bag is 15 gallons per minute.


	Fittings are not included because different fittings would be required with each bag to cover the variety of backwash hose and inlet sizes . A universal clamp which covers most applications is included.


	All Slime Bags are made of the same material and filter to 1 micron. As the Slime Bag gets bigger the flow rate (gallons per minute) increases. The following are the flow rates of each Slime Bag: Fill’r’up Bag – 20 gpm Polishing Bag - 40 gpm Polishing Bag (Large) – 60 gpm Jumbo Bag - 300 gpm


	When you have cleaned your Slime Bag and the water no longer runs through the Bag see your pool dealer for a new Bag.


	Slide the Slime Bag™ over garden hose when you fill your spa or top up your pool. When you remove the bag clean it.


	Remove the Slime Bag from the pool or spa. Insert any long straight handle ( i.e. broom ) into the Slime Bag. Using a garden hose with sprayer attached spray the outside of the Slime Bag from the top down. Spray each side until clean ( approximately 1 minute per side ) Note: Slime Bag MUST be cleaned immediately after each use so particulate does not harden making it impossible to clean.


	The Slime Bag filters to 1 micron. It can filter out red blood cells.

Yes! Certain products that contain abnormal amounts of filler or pool clarifiers will clog up the pores in the backwash Slime Bag™ and this material CANNOT be washed out. Normal chlorine pucks contain at least 90% available chlorine and can safely be used with the Slime Bag™. Do not use the backwash bag with any shock or chlorine pucks which contain clarifiers. Do not use the backwash bag with any liquid, powder or tablet form of clarifier designed to be used in sand filters. NOTE: If you use the Slime Bag™ you do not need to use Clarifiers.


	The Slime Bag™ is rated up to 50 P.S.I. (pounds per square inch). The best cartridge filters are also rated at 50 P.S.I. Note: Large trash pumps are capable of generating in excess of 50 P.S.I and could rupture the bags.
