How it Works

1.  Pool Water is pumped from your pool pump to the Solar Panels.

2. The sun heats the water in the Panels.

3. The heated water is returned to the pool.

Recommended operating pressure 15 psi at 120F

Maximum fluid pressure 25 psi at 120F

Recommended flow rate 4-10 gpm per 4 ft. widths

Recommended pump 3/4 - 1 H.P.

LAYOUT

To determine your plumbing requirements, follow the above example and draw a rough plan view of your home and pool area.

You will need a 1 1/2” feed pipe from the pump house to the lower corner of the solar collector.

As well you will need a 1 1/2” return pipe from the opposite top corner back to the pump house.
