Since 1973, Speck Pumps has manufactured water treadmill systems for swimming pools and spas. Now, pool owners can get more enjoyment and use from their pool investment with the installation of a Badu system.  We sell 2 systems.   One system has two jets and one pump and the other other system has three jets and two pumps. 

How They Work

Water is pumped into the pool through one or two large recessed jet nozzles mounted in an under-water housing. Capable of creating a current in excess of 5000 GPM, the jets can be adjusted to provide resistance for an enjoyable, therapeutic walk, jog or swim, with less pounding and harmful jarring caused by street exercise. Also, there is a massage hose that can be attached to a jet nozzle that produces a pulsating, refreshing massage. The jet system is virtually a treadmill in water, offering unlimited long distance swimming with no turning around.

Installation

The BaduStream can be installed in any type pool, new or existing, large or small, from gunite to vinyl liner. Each Badu system comes with a complete, easy-to-follow installation guide and customer assistance hotline for tech support.

The Speck Package

The second system we sell has three jets and two pumps.   The three jet system has an output of 400 GPM.

BADUSTREAM OVER THE WALL TREAD MILL

Treadmill swimming is now convenient and economical. The BaduStream Over-the-Wall Unit provides great exercise and terrific recreational fun for existing pools.

A. One piece body is molded of a heavy duty polyethylene plastic immune to chemicals and environmental abuse, to provide a rugged and attractively styled water treadmill.
B. Square anti-vortex cover provides undetectable pump suction.
C. Adjustable water flow jet nozzle.
D. Pneumatic on/off button guarantees complete separation between pool water and pump motor control.
E. Air regulator controls amounts of air bubbles in water flow.
F. Control box with GFCI.
G. Speck 4 HP self-priming, plastic pump, single phase with thermal overload (no motor starter required).
H. Pulsating massage hose can be attached to jet nozzle. (optional)

INSTALLATION

This unit can be mounted over the wall of most pools with little installation, effort and cost. The BaduStream Over The Wall has no protruding parts ensuring pool user's safety. This self-contained unit comes complete with pump, control box, unit-to-control box cable and mounting hardware. It requires no additional equipment for installation. Just supply pool, water and electricity. Pump and Control also available in 3 phase. Read all instructions before installing.
